Shout for More

On Shout for More, her fifth full-length album, Sherry charts a new chapter in her life with a luminous collection of songs that glows like stained glass. Blending folk-pop sensibility with country and Irish-Newfoundland roots, Sherry affirms her place as one of Atlantic Canada’s best-loved singer-songwriters

Wreckhouse

Wreckhouse is named for Sherry’s gem of a song ‘Stop The Trains’ written with her father about working in the infamous Wreckhouse, Newfoundland where the winds are so high they were known to blow trains right of the track. The song has quickly become a part of the Newfoundland canon of legendary songs.

Sister of Mine

“Sister of Mine” marks the third release for multiple Music Newfoundland and Labrador winner Sherry Ryan.

Known for her autobiographical and earnest songwriting Sherry continues her strength for the craft on “Sister of Mine”. Sherry is skilled at penning love songs proving that a mix of love gained, love kept and love lost makes for a heartfelt exploration of the human heart and condition. On this record Sherry enlists the help of producer/musician Phil Sedore (Amelia Curran’s War Brides and Juno winning album Hunter, Hunter). He plays the majority of the instruments on the album and it has his signature folk, country flavour.
